How do I make a reservation?
Contact the Sunwolf team to arrange a site visit with our Wedding & Event Manager who will show you around the property.
Once you know Sunwolf is the venue for you, we will require a 50% deposit of the total Full Venue Rental to secure your dates.
The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Please refer to the Full Venue Rental Prices on the previous page.
In the event that the wedding booking is cancelled, the following cancellation polices will apply:
• Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the event
50% of the wedding deposit will be refunded.
The remaining 50% is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Cancellations received within 30 – 90 days of the event
Sunwolf will retain 100% of wedding deposit received.
• Cancellations received within 30 days of the event
Sunwolf will retain 100% of the final balance.
Do I have to view the property to book?
Yes, if you are interested in booking a wedding at Sunwolf, we do require you to view the site prior to booking.
We like to book site visits ahead of time so that we can ensure that we have one of our wedding experts available to show you around.

What does the Full Venue Rental include?
The Full Venue Rental includes accommodation in our 10 riverside cabins, the Logger’s Shack and the Fisherman’s Cottage.
Full use of Sunwolf’s five-acre estate includes the lodge, the attached deck,
grounds, fire pit, designated parking and outdoor washrooms.
How many people can sleep in the cabins?
The cabins can accommodate a total of 54 people.
We would provide additional cot beds in the Riverside Cabins to reach full occupancy.
Can my guests call Sunwolf directly to book their cabins?
Yes, Sunwolf will provide a Cabin Allocation Form that needs to be completed and returned to Sunwolf no later than 60 days prior to your wedding.
No cabin reservations can be made by your guests without the completed Cabin Allocation Form.
Any guests paying for their own accommodation must pay for their cabin at least 30 days prior to your wedding.
Upon receipt of your completed Cabin Allocation Form, Sunwolf will manage your guests’ reservations and process all payment for their accommodation.
We accept only one credit card per cabin and will issue the payee with an e-mail confirmation.
Any cabins with outstanding payments will be added to your final balance, which is due 30 days prior to the wedding.
Do we need to hire a reception tent?
As we are an outdoor venue and the weather in Squamish can be unpredictable, we do require you to have some form of shelter
whether it be a tent, stretch tent or tarp. Local rental companies can supply anything from draped sails to a full tent
with dance floor that will create a fantastic setting for your wedding.
The tent may only be used during the period when the Full Venue Rental Fee has been paid.
What is the largest reception tent size we can fit on the property?
40′ x 80′ is the largest tent that will fit on the property. The reception tent must be set up on the designated tent pad.
Please contact our Wedding & Event Manager for a map of the property and tent set up area.
What time can we begin set-up?
Rental companies can set up the tent after 11 a.m. on the first day of the Full Venue Rental.
All vendors are required to sign a Supplier Agreement Form prior to arriving on the property.
All other set-up, decorating and wedding prep can begin once the walkthrough has been completed with our Sunwolf representative.
No set-up can begin until the walkthrough has been completed.
If you have a wedding planner, we ask that they accompany you on the walkthrough or arrange a time to
meet with our office team no later than noon on the day of the wedding.
Do we need a wedding planner?
We do not require you to have a wedding planner, however, we do highly recommend having one.
Wedding planners are very resourceful and creative; they can work with you to make your
visions come to life and ensure your day is as stress free as possible
Does Sunwolf have an on-site wedding planner?
Sunwolf’s Wedding & Event Manager coordinates venue logistics leading up to your big day.
Sunwolf does not provide a wedding planner or a day-of coordinator.
The Wedding & Event Manager is available by appointment for site visits and is available by email or phone for any venue related questions.
All forms, payments and catering details are finalized one month prior to your event. By the time you arrive on site, the venue will be yours to enjoy.
Can we have amplified music?
Yes, you can have amplified music until 12 a.m. Speakers need to be set up facing the river.
Amplified music will need to be turned down at 11 p.m. and switched off at 12 a.m.
You can have acoustic music after midnight – this is the time to sit by the fire with guitars!
Do we need to rent a dance floor?
A dancefloor is not required, however, it is recommended as it provides a great surface for your guests to dance the night away.
Dance floors can be rented from the local rental companies.
Can we use the picnic tables?
Yes, we have 14 picnic tables in the cabin area that you are welcome to use and return.
Fergie’s picnic tables at the front of the property cannot be used.
Can we use the lodge for our reception?
The lodge is a great space to relax in, use for a casual self-catered rehearsal dinner or to get ready for your big day.
The lodge is not to be used for dancing, partying or hosting wedding receptions.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes, Sunwolf has a great fire pit to sit around with friends. If there is a fire ban, Sunwolf will provide a propane fire pit to use.
Can we release fire lanterns?
We have checked with the fire department and this is not allowed within the District of Squamish.
Other things to consider that are not included:
Décor, lighting, flowers, DJ, music or sound system, officiant, photographer, and shuttles.
Please ask our Wedding & Event Manager for a list of recommended vendors.
What time is check-in?
The check-in time for the cabins is at 4 p.m. Please advise all guests to check in at reception.
Can people camp?
Yes, as you have booked the whole venue you are welcome to have guests camping on site during the nights the Full Venue Rental has been paid.
We would recommend no more than 40 tents. All guests to check in with reception upon arrival.
Check-in for camping is also at 4 p.m.
Can RVs park?
Yes, but space is limited so it will depend on RV size. Furthermore, there is no electric/water hook up. All guests to check in with reception upon arrival. Check-in time for RVs is also at 4 p.m.
Are there washroom facilities for campers?
Yes, we have a luxury shower and washroom facility for your guests.
Please advise camping guests to bring their own towels for showering.
What time is check-out and tear down?
Please advise your guests that cabin check-out is a strict 11 a.m. All RVs and camping guests must also check out at 11 a.m.
Tear down and removal of décor, gifts, food, etc. must be completed no later than 2 p.m. on the day the Full Venue Rental ends.
This does not include the tear down of the actual tent structure by the rental company.
Please liaise with the Sunwolf team and rental company in regards to the time required for tent removal.
Any other rental items must be stored inside the tent for collection.
If a rental tent was not used and you have only rented tables, chairs, etc. they must be stored by the lodge deck for collection.
A property walkthrough must be completed with a Sunwolf representative at this time.
We provide each cabin with one parking spot. There is additional parking in our overflow area for any campers or extra cars.
Wedding guests cannot use the front parking lot at Fergie’s. Please let us know if you would like a map with the allocated parking spots.
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times, due to the close proximity of the property
to the Cheakamus River, the Cheekye River, the road and the railway tracks.
Can we bring pets?
Yes we are pet friendly, but, please clean up after your animals.
Please bring a crate if you believe your pet may get distressed and possibly destructive when staying in the cabin.
Pets are allowed in the cabins and on the property, however, no pets are permitted in the lodge
Tell us about Fergie’s Catering?
Most importantly, the meal will be absolutely delicious! Chef Krissy has relationships with local farmers,
enabling her to prepare creative and mouth-watering dishes with wild and local ingredients.

What staffing is included with Fergie’s Catering?
We have not included service staff in the price of the catering menus in order to customize service to meet your needs.
This allows you to add additional services or time to your catering schedule should you choose.
Staff hours will be quoted to you along with the wedding meal. Staff hours are estimates, final billing with reflect actual hours worked.
The hourly rate is $25 per staff member.
Fergie’s provides exclusive catering and beverage service from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. on the day of your wedding.
Canapes can be served from 4:30 p.m. onwards. Wedding dinners can be served from 6 p.m. onwards.
Fergie’s Dietary Requirements
Please let us know of any dietary requirements or special considerations and we will be happy to accommodate with individually plated dishes.
An additional charge of $10 per person will be applied to all specialty meals.
Your Sunwolf Wedding & Event Manager will need a table plan and the names of people with dietary requirements
no later than 30 days before the wedding day. Please note that we are not a nut-, shellfish-, gluten- or dairy-free facility,
however, we will do our best to avoid any cross contamination.
What other catering services can Fergie’s provide?
If you would like to spend more time relaxing and visiting with your wedding guests prior to your wedding, Fergie’s Catering can provide a delicious Burger Bar for the Rehearsal Dinner. Fergie’s also offers fabulous canape and cocktail menu items.
Can I bring in outside catering?
No. Fergie’s is a full-service catering business and exclusively provides all catering services on site.
No outside catering is permitted for the wedding meal.
Can I bring in my own alcohol for the reception?
No. Fergie’s provides exclusive catering and beverage service from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. on the day of your wedding.
Fergie’s holds a BC liquor license and will provide all liquor products and licensing for your wedding.
We will provide the service of these products with Serving it Right certified staff.

Do we need to provide tables and chairs?
Yes, you will need to supply the tables and chairs. There are a few rental agencies to choose from.
Please see our preferred vendors page on our website.
Do we need to provide plateware, cutlery and glassware?
Yes, you will need to rent these items from your preferred vendor.
Will Fergie’s Catering supply everything for our wedding meal?
Fergie’s Catering will prepare your wedding dishes, along with providing serving dishes and serving utensils.
Plateware, glassware, cutlery and linen are not included. These can be hired from one of the rental companies in a style of your choice.
