New! From March 2015, four of our Riverside Cabins will have been updated to Full Kitchen Cabins (if you would like to try one before March, we have Cabin 9 completed already!). From the outside there are few clues that they are any different from the other cabins. But inside you’ll find a fresh new look: bright painted wainscotting, new linens and a brand new kitchen and bathroom. A slight change to the layout has made room for a Queen size bed, a tub in the bathroom and a full kitchen with a stove and plenty of space for your groceries. With a contemporary, rustic Scandinavian feel, our Full Kitchen Cabins have more in them but feel spacious, bright and airy. Plus, we’ve added a few creature comforts, like underfloor heating and a luxurious steel tub in the bathroom.
As part of our ongoing commitment to reduce our impact on the environment, we have replaced the hot water tank with an on demand water heater. This is a change we’ll be making in all our cabins over time. We’ve also put in low energy LED lights and a low flush toilet and added eco friendly insulation to the roof, floor and walls.
