Meet Sherri. She’s both good cop and bad cop, all rolled into one. Like a box of chocolates, you never really know what you’re going to get: some are sweet, some have more kick than others, all are awesome.
As a Squamish import – where are you from originally and what drew you to Squamish?
I’ve moved around a lot through my life and spent two years as a young cook in Whistler. I moved to PEI in order to realize how much I loved the west coast and chose Squamish as a place to stay for now.
What is your greatest pet peeve?
Probably loud and unnecessary noise. I tend to remove myself from any noisy situations or pull out the full librarian “shush”.
Would you rather have to always bike in the rain to/from work or teach a kindergarten class for a day?
Given my aversion to boisterous and sticky children, I would opt to have a damp tushy daily from my bike commute rather than teach a kindergarten class. I’m not a good teacher anyways.
What are your top three favourite extracurricular activities?
I’m a big fan of naps! Otherwise heading to the gym or playing video games are good ways to keep my sanity. Oh, and hiking takes the edge off as well.
What’s your favourite music genre?
I’ll listen to just about anything that isn’t country music, though I’ve been listening to a lot of alternative/rock music lately.
