Eagle Watching & Floats – Squamish is one of the most prominent bald eagle wintering grounds in North America. In the winter, thousands of eagles flock to Squamish. You can spot them from your cabin along the river, or at the nearby Eagle Run at Brackendale Provincial Park. Squamish Rafting also offers an Eagle Float where you can get up close along the river without disturbing these beautiful birds and other local wildlife.
Skiing & Snowboarding – We are located a 45-minute drive from the largest ski resort in the world, Whistler Blackcomb, with endless runs, limitless terrain, restaurants, nightlife and fun for the whole family.

Backcountry Skiing – If touring is your thing, there are fantastic opportunities to get out and earn your turns. The Sea to Sky Gondola is a great launching pad into the backcountry, and those new to touring can venture to the Red Heather Hut to ski Paul Ridge on Round Mountain in Garibaldi Provincial Park. Remember to never go into the backcountry alone, always check the avalanche forecast and bring the proper safety equipment.
Snowshoeing & Cross Country Skiing – There are dozens of opportunities to snowshoe the mountains above Squamish. A trip to Elfin Lakes is a rite of passage, or head to the Callaghan Valley just north of us for fantastic cross-country skiing.
Sea to Sky Gondola – The ten-minute, stunning gondola ride to over 885 metres above sea level provides easy access to incredible coastal mountain terrain with breathtaking views! There’s also a tube park and great snowshoeing. Stop by the Sunwolf office for discounted lift tickets.
