From now through mid-February, we invite you to get up close and personal with these awe-inspiring raptors. Whether it’s the Eagle Viewing Float, the Soar with the Eagles package that combines the Eagle Viewing Float with the new Sea to Sky Gondola, or the Soar and Stay promotion offering a 15% discount on accommodation, the birds are only here for a short time so book now while you can. Brackendale earned bragging rights as the site of the largest concentration of bald eagles on the planet back in 1994 when an awe-inspiring 3769 of the magnificent raptors were counted in a single day. While gently floating by, our experienced and knowledgeable guides educate guests about the life cycle of the bald eagle and the salmon they depend upon. A wonderful and educational trip for the entire family, the Eagle Viewing Float has attracted people far and wide interested in wildlife viewing, bird watching, and photography.
Squamish is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream. Where else can one find world-class whitewater rafting, fishing, mountain biking, mountaineering, back country skiing, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, windsurfing and scuba diving, all in a spectacular environment within an hour’s drive of Whistler and the booming metropolis of Vancouver. We can help to arrange any of these activities, or just step outside your cabin and choose your own adventure!
Take a stroll along the banks of the Cheakamus, meander through woodland trails listening to the birds chattering, gaze at spectacular views of Mount Alpha from our hot tub, or curl up in your cozy riverside cabin listening to the sound of the Cheekye flowing by. With a fire pit, volleyball net, horseshoes and lots of greenspace for lawn games, you’ll find plenty to do on your doorstep.
Each of our ten private cabins feature hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, gas fireplaces, handmade pine furniture and en-suite shower rooms. With a double bed and a single day bed, they comfortably accommodate three adults. Cook your dinner beneath the stars with one of our communal barbecues, enjoy a fabulous breakfast on our cafe’s sunny deck, or for more flexibility, book one of our kitchenette cabins.
Also, check out our Logger’s Shack for a luxurious retreat, featuring wood fireplace, loft, full kitchen & full bathroom!
